That's still not a very clear example. Remember, your "two elements" can still be anything: Just HTML, HTML + CSS, images, videos, iframes, etc, or a combination of those. What they are influences when they are drawn and thus how to synchronize their rendering. You've also already given the obvious solution to your question: Manipulate the visibility of the two elements, one way or another. What's not working for you here?
